Located next to Luxembourg Airport’s terminal, Skypark is a 76,400 m² administrative building designed by BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group, in collaboration with Luxembourg-based Metaform.
EL’LE Architects designed the interior architecture and fit-out of three floors, from levels R+1 to R+3, accommodating approximately 200 workstations, meeting rooms, an auditorium, a boardroom, training rooms, informal meeting areas and a cafeteria seating 140 people.
The interior design complements the existing architecture, highlighting its timber frame, anodised copper façade and exposed stainless-steel technical elements. The layout evokes an urban journey, structured around a mineral-toned pathway and punctuated by transparency, curved lines and textured surfaces.
The deliberately understated, monochromatic palette combines beige, white and black with subtle copper accents. The furniture’s graphic lines contrast with the fluid circulation routes and the omnipresent timber structure.
The cafeteria extends this design identity through warm tones and materials inspired by wood and metal. Its all-black kitchen creates a striking graphic contrast with the convivial dining area. Finally, an outdoor terrace offers direct views of the airport runways.
